A private Pick-Two Draft for twelve travelers
Diggory has prepared a full day of cards, company, meals, prizes, and comfortable opportunities to remain at the table long after the formal proceedings have concluded.
Breakfast and check-in begin at 9:30 AM. The Pick-Two Draft will commence promptly at 10:00 AM, followed by three best-of-three Swiss rounds. Pairings, match results, and standings will be managed through the official Magic Companion app.
Snacks, meals, and beverages will be provided throughout the day. Guests are also welcome to bring their own refreshments, particularly if they have a favorite provision or special dietary need.
The order of the day
- 9:30 AM — Breakfast and check-in: Arrive, settle in, enjoy breakfast, and browse the complimentary singles table. Guests are welcome to take as many cards as they like.
- 10:00 AM — Draft commencement: Please be seated, checked in, and ready to begin. This is the firmest time on Diggory’s very orderly list.
- Until approximately 4:00 PM — Draft and Swiss rounds: The Pick-Two Draft will be followed by three best-of-three Swiss rounds, with breaks for food and reasonable necessities.
- Approximately 4:00–5:00 PM — Raffle and community awards: Once the formal matches are complete, the company will gather for prize drawings and community-selected awards.
- Approximately 5:00–10:00 PM — Commander and casual play: The remaining hours are reserved for Commander, trading, additional food, conversation, and whatever other card-table activities the company finds agreeable.
A Note Regarding Time
No good party should be curtailed by a schedule other than mealtimes.
The 9:30 AM opening and 10:00 AM draft commencement are firm. All later times are friendly estimates and may shift according to the pace of the draft, the length of the matches, and the company’s enthusiasm for telling stories between rounds.
Guests participating in the draft should have access to the Magic Companion app and be able to sign in with their Wizards Account before play begins.
