When and where is the event?
There and Draft Again! will take place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at a private residence in Thornton, Colorado.
Breakfast and check-in begin at 9:30 AM. The Pick-Two Draft begins promptly at 10:00 AM.
The complete street address is provided only to attendees whose payment has been received and manually confirmed.
How much does it cost?
The registration fee is $75 per player.
The fee covers the draft product, meals and refreshments throughout the day, prizes, raffle items, and other event provisions.
Who may register?
Registration is limited to invited guests. A valid invitation passphrase is required to submit the registration form.
Invitations and registrations should not be transferred to another person without first contacting the organizer.
How many players can attend?
The event is strictly limited to 12 players.
The first twelve eligible registrations to complete payment and receive confirmation will occupy the available places. Additional registrants will be added to an ordered waiting list.
Does submitting the form guarantee my place?
No. Submitting the registration form begins the registration process but does not create a confirmed reservation.
If a place is available, your registration will initially be marked Payment pending. Your place is confirmed only after payment has been received, manually verified, and your status has been changed to Confirmed and paid.
What happens after I register?
If a place is available, you will receive an email containing payment instructions based on the payment method selected on the registration form.
After payment has been manually verified, you will receive a confirmation email containing:
- The complete event address
- Driving and mapping directions
- Parking information
- Arrival instructions
- A reminder about Magic Companion
- Final information about what to bring
If all twelve places have already been claimed, you will receive a waiting-list notification instead.
How does the waiting list work?
Once the twelve available places have been filled, additional registrations are placed on an ordered waiting list.
If a confirmed attendee cancels, the next eligible person on the waiting list may be invited to claim the available place. A waiting-list invitation is not confirmed until the invited person completes payment and receives confirmation.
Waitlisted guests should not submit payment unless they are specifically invited to claim a place.
Why is the complete address not shown on the website?
The gathering takes place at a private home. For the privacy and security of the household and attendees, the complete street address is not published on the website or included in registration acknowledgements, payment-pending messages, or waiting-list emails.
The address is sent only after payment has been verified and registration has been confirmed.
Confirmed attendees should treat the address as private event information and should not post it publicly.
What is a Pick-Two Booster Draft?
In a Pick-Two Draft, each player opens a booster pack and selects two cards before passing the remaining cards to the next player. Players continue selecting cards and passing packs until the draft is complete.
Players then build Limited decks from the cards they drafted and play three Swiss rounds.
Additional instructions will be provided before the draft begins, so previous Pick-Two experience is not required.
Do I need drafting experience?
No. Players should have a basic familiarity with Magic: The Gathering, but prior Pick-Two Draft experience is not required.
The format and procedures will be explained before drafting begins. This is intended to be a casual and welcoming gathering rather than a highly competitive tournament.
Is this a sanctioned tournament?
No. There and Draft Again! is a casual, unofficial private gathering. It is not a sanctioned Wizards Play Network event.
Magic Companion will be used to manage pairings, match results, and standings, but the event will not be submitted as an officially sanctioned tournament.
Do I need the Magic Companion app?
Yes. Players should have access to the official Magic Companion app and be able to sign in with their Wizards Account.
Install the app, confirm that you can sign in, and charge your mobile device before arriving. Event pairing information will be provided during check-in.
